This year it’s the second time that the FC St. Pauli, one of the largest rugby clubs in Germany, offers in cooperation with the international agency Camp Adventure the „FC St. Pauli Rugby & English Camp“ in Ireland. The FC St. Pauli Rugby is known for its outstanding junior promotion and has awarded not only by the “Stiftung Leistungssport Hamburg”, but also by the DOSB for exceptional youth work. The Rugby Beach Camp is another step to offer children comprehensive and high quality rugby training. In cooperation with the experienced child and youth travel agency Camp Adventure we provide a journey that isn’t just great fun, it also promotes the social skills of the participants.

The youth in the age of 12-16 have the chance to use the fantastically beautiful location of the elite boarding school St. Coluba’s College in Dublin. The international Teamer provide an attractive program with a lot of variety and insight into the Irish culture.

Rugby Training

For two weeks our star player and former national player Benjamin Heuer will guide you into the world of rugby. Whether beginner or club player, everyone is welcome to play and have fun at the great sports field of the college. Based on modern training method you will taught in technique and tactics twice a day, while the main part is: fun! In order to get perfect into the workout, you will get a great merchandising package gift from us!

English Coaching

But not only will your rugby skills improved here, also your English skills. In 40 lessons our English teacher, btw. All native speakers will practice with you. But don’t worry, it’s very different from school – with great activities and projects we introduce you in a playful, creative way the foreign language.

Program

In addition, we offer an action-packed program with many other sports, like soccer, tennis, golf, hokey, Irish Sports and hiking. And there’s a lot to do for the creative’s as well! The evenings will certainly not boring, because the teamer will consider a varied program - to have a great time together. If that’s not enough, you can also select the following addition program. Also the culture program is great: Look forward to a day in Dublin, for shopping and to enjoy a sightseeing tour with Geocashing in the beautiful madieval city. During the trip to Caussey Farm you will be “Irish” for one day. On this farm we will provide you a special Irish program, so you can get a good insight into Irish life. There you can try to learn to speak a little bit Irish, to milk, traditional Irish dances and bake you own Irish “Brown Bread” which you will enjoy hot with butter and jam.

The St. Columba's College offers its mix of medieval appearance ("Harry Potter Style") and modern interior design and equipment. Traditional Dining Hall on the campus makes every meal an experience to remember. You will sleep in comfortable 4-6 bed rooms with private bathrooms, in which students are usually accommodated during the school year. The outside area is excellently maintained and offers fantastic training opportunities – that’s what you would expect from an elite boarding school.
